We are very excited to announce the new date for the Fabry Australia Wellness Retreat is Friday 24-March to Sunday 26-March 2023.
The event will us to gather for some well-earned relaxation and rest. It will be an opportunity for you to meet others living with Fabry, but it will mostly take some time for you.
The resort is situated 28km from the Maroochydore Airport and features sweeping lush tropical grounds.
In addition to all the resort has to offer, we have arranged a selection of gentle activities such as yoga, a cooking class by Annette Sym (from the Symply Too Good To Be True cookbooks), an African drumming workshop, a watercolour art class, bocce, mini golf, swimming or relaxing by the resort-style pool. And we encourage you to take it at your own pace. Feel free to join in or watch from the sidelines.
Those with children are well-catered for, as this resort includes a large water fun park, giant kangaroo jumper, Putt Putt course and more.
Plus, the venue is close to the beach, water sports activities and all that Caloundra has to offer.
A function room is available for the weekend, which allows us to meet for activities or just to sit and chat with other members. So, if you plan to come alone, please be assured that you will have plenty of company.
Accommodation caters to singles, couples or families and non-ground floor rooms are serviced by a lift.
This retreat is focused on rest, relaxation and rejuvenation, rather than the clinical aspect of Fabry disease. Please note, that there will be no formal speakers at this event.

Cost for Members – $80 per adult, $140 per family (2 adults in the same household). Children under 18 FREE.
