Regrettably, the Fabry Australia Committee has decided to cancel the upcoming Fabry Retreat in Queensland.
With ongoing outbreaks of COVID19 and border closures, it was not feasible for us all to gather, at this time.
We see great value in the program, however, and hope to be able to revisit the program in the future.

Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort, Caloundra, is situated 28km from the Maroochydore Airport and features sweeping lush tropical grounds.
In addition to all the resort has to offer, we have arranged a selection of gentle activities such as yoga, a cooking class, African drumming, water colour art, bocce, mini golf, swimming or relaxing by the resort style pool. And we encourage you to take it at your own pace. Feel free to join in or watch from the side-lines.
Those with children are well-catered for as this resort includes a large water fun park, giant kangaroo jumper, Putt Putt course and more.
Plus, the venue is close to the beach, water sports activities and all that Caloundra has to offer.
A function room is available for the weekend, which allows us to meet for activities or just to sit and chat with other members. So, if you plan to come alone, please be assured that you will have plenty of company.
Accommodation caters to singles, couples or families and rooms not on the ground floor are serviced by a lift.
This retreat is focused on rest, relaxation and rejuvenation, rather than the clinical aspect of Fabry disease. Please note, there will be no formal speakers at this event.
