My Happy Place or
For the month of April, Fabry Australia encourage all
members, Fabber friends and those living with Fabry to bring about more public
awareness of Fabry Disease.
The "My Happy Place" campaign aims to promotes that
although Fabry Disease affects approximately 5,000 to 10,000 people worldwide, it
can bring positive aspects to those living with the disease.
This campaign is designed to encourage those living with
Fabry to share the place where they feel happiest. It could be a place they go
to get away from treatment, a place they feel safe, a place they have fun and
forget about their disease, it could be a place they go to rest and relax, it
may even be someone they spend time with to overcome the hurdle of living with
Fabry or perhaps it’s an activity they undertake to cope with Fabry Disease.
This campaign invites all people living with Fabry disease;
those who have been diagnosed, carers or loved ones.
